Tree of life

This is a very simple make. I have used an 18 inch chain to which I have put a pendant holder on and then added a pale green shell disk and a Tree of life charm on. I really like the effect this necklaces has from something so simple.

Ingredients
6*8mm red pearl beads,
8*6mm red pearl beads,
2 Silver plated earring findings,
1 Silver plated lobster clasp,
16inch silver plated chain.
11 eye pin's
2 Headpins

First I put all of the 6mm red pearl beads onto eye pins, trimmed the remaining wire one the other end of the pin to roughly around 1cm and using a pair of ring nosed pliers made that end into a loop. I them again repeated this on 4 of the 8mm pearl beads. The remaining two 8mm I put on the two head pins again cutting the remaining wire to 1cm and created a loop.
Working with the pattern of a 6mm pearl followed by a 8mm pearl and then again a 6mm pearl, I connected these by adding 1 and a half inches of chain in between each of the beads until I reached the last of the pearls allocated to the necklace. I the split the remaining chain in two and placed at either end of the beads and placed a lobster clasp on the end.

To make the matching earrings I linked the two 8mm pearls that were on head pins to the remaining 2 6mm pearls and then linked other end of the 6mm pearls to the earrings.
This then created this necklace and earring set.

Pink Friends

This card is made using basic white card stock at 300gsm, a pink blossom 250gsm card and a card and topper from the Kanban Language of flowers kit.
I first folded the white card blank in half using a scoring board and a bone folder to make a A5 basic card blank, I then cut the pink card to just over  an A5 mat, then I cut the Kanban backing card to half an inch smaller than the pink card mat.
I cut another two inch strip of the pink card and a one and three quarters inch of the Kanban backing card and matted them together. I then took my topper and created a mate again with the pink card, that was half an inch bigger than my topper to create a mat to lift the topper.
Once I put this all together I added colour matching gems on two corners to balance the card.
This is the end card. I hope you like it.

Hi everyone. I know that I have not blogged in a long time and I will try and start blogging again in the near future. Until I do you can look at my website by clicking on the below link. At present it is under construction so there are still a lot of things to be added. I will hopefully be adding some cards to it over the next few days.

Flowers Blooming

Another day another blog :)
To make this card I used Spellbinders Elegant Labels 4, Spellbinders Resplendent Rectangles, a rose stamp and my pro markers.
To start this card I first cut two base mats, one in silver mirror card and the next one in a plain white card stock.
I then used the larger Label from the Elegant Rectangles to cut the next layer in a soft green card stock. I then cut the second size label in white card stock.
One I cut this layer out I stamped my image onto this label, once I choose which colours to use I coloured my image with my Pro-Markers.
I then stamped my Happy Birthday sentiment on a small piece of white card and cut it out using a die from SB Resplendent Rectangles.
I hope you all like today’s card.

Pretty Amazing

Morning everyone, I hope you are all well.
For this card I used Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles, Spellbinders A2 Scalloped Borders 1 and a Marianne flower die.
First I cut a mat out of a white piece of card stock. I then cut another piece of white card stock a little smaller than before, I then used the SB A2 Scalloped Borders 1 and placed it on an uphill angle on this piece of card to cut. Once I had cut this I took the top half of the card and embossed it with a floral embossing folder.
I cut a piece of patterned paper that was the same size as my second white mat started and laid it behind the top embossed piece of white card.
I then cut out three flowers using my Marianne flower die and then punched out nine flowers using a flower punch. I placed these across the cut border line so that they flowed upwards.
To finish this card I added a patterned ribbon along the near bottom of the card.
I think that this really finished the card.

Birthday Bear

And heres today's blog.

For this card I used Spellbinders Resplendent Rectangles, a forever friends stamp and again my Pro Markers.
I first cut two rectangle mats, one in gold mirror card and one out of a white card stock. I then cut the largest die from SB Resplendent Rectangles in a dusty lilac card.
Next I cut out the next size down of the dies in white card and also cut the smallest die out of white card. I stamped my sentiment in the smaller of the white dies and my Forever friends stamp in the larger white die.
I selected the colours I needed and then coloured my stamped image using my pro markers working from darkest colour to lightest. I cut a mat to go behind my sentiment in the same dusty pink card used on the largest of the die cut mats.
I really like how this turned out, what do you all think?
